Dear Neighbors,

Our annual Christmas Cantata will go on, snow or not, tomorrow morning at 10 AM. We've prepared a wonderful Cantata, and we will present a holy word in music and scripture. There will be singing, drumming, praying, all followed by a festive brunch.

You're invited to brunch.

Need a place to go to share the spirit of the season? We'd love to see you and feed you.

Hello,

I have 2 tickets for a reduced price of $20 that can be used for either ART's Sleep No More (which is FANTASTIC and everyone should see) or The Donkey Show (haven't seen it).  The tickets can be redeemed for any day that isn't sold out.  Sleep no more has good availability for tickets from january 14- february 7

I will put in the order and pick them up at the ART box office and then deliver them to you in the square.

Please let me know if you are interested!  Ideally, i'd like to call the box office today or tomorrow to make this reservation, so a quick response would be great!

Last week we bought this table for my Mom, but it turns out to be too big. Anyone want a brand new, fully assembled coffee/tv table? We can deliver it to your door. Asking $40--it's brand new, expertly put together and we'll bring it right to you--but taking all offers.

Thanks!

I figure I can't be the only photog here who thinks snow is extremely pretty, so would anyone be interested in gathering for a romp through the snow with cameras the next time it comes down in a picturesque way?

(The last time was a bit wet but I still got some decent shots in it!)

In my old town, there were kids that would go door to door after a snow storm and shovel sidewalks for $20. I'm noticing that that isn't the norm here in Somerville. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any enterprising youths that might be interested in shoveling my sidewalk, stairs and driveway -- price negotiable.

Another good Davis Sq deal on BuyWithMe. $20 for $40 at Tu y Yo. I love mexican food, and hear great things about this little restaurant. Looking forward to giving it a try! Just wanted to give you all a heads up.

Hi b0st0n --
After moving into a smaller new apartment, I have a dresser and a tv stand I have got to get rid of! Craigslist post is here: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/fuo/1507562049.html Nothing fancy, but solid. And cheap.
I am even willing to take less money from people who will seriously come get them.
I'm in the Back Bay, and can help you get the dresser downstairs if you have a vehicle to take it away in.
Thanks!

I live near Teele Square, a 10 minute walk from Davis. I'm moving to Seattle, and am selling some things so as to fit into one ReloCube. I would like for things to be picked up by Sunday. Links to listings below the cut.

When granddaughter, Jada, was born with leukemia, a donor-match was located and Jada made a miraculous recovery. In honor of her grandaughter's health, Jeanna has decided to walk across the country (in the dead of winter) to raise awareness and build support for the bone marrow registry (all that's required is a cheek swab). Follow Jeanna's remarkable journey as she travels the United States by foot.

About a month ago, I came across a woman making lovely knit goods for sale outside the Holland St. Exit. I commissioned her (well, I asked her) to make my baby some mittens and booties, and she said they'd be ready in 2 days. I wasn't able to make it back for about a week, and ever since then I haven't seen her when I head to the square (which, admittedly, isn't all that often). Has anyone else seen her lately? Do you know if she has certain hours or days when she's there?

If you're on AT&T and your phone is even crappier than usual tomorrow at around 3PM, it's not Davis-exclusive, that's because a bunch of iPhone users across the country are running data-intensive applications to protest AT&T's crappy network. It's called Operation Chokehold. Enough people are angry about this, and AT&T's network is so stinkin' miserable, that it's going to make a dent. Just FYI.

It's the 8pm performance at the Somerville Theater. I'm looking to sell it at face value ($20). I can arrange for a friend meet up with you in front of the theater at 7:45pm for the exchange.

Join the Boston Sunday Night Film Club this Sunday, Dec 20th at 5:30pm for Avatar (3D) at the AMC Boston Common 19 . Look for Audra wearing a "who's your spy daddy" shirt in the theatre lobby about 15 minutes before the film. As always, after the film we will descend on a local establishment for dinner/drinks/discussion.

7-Eleven buys New England Pantry

I don't think this is good news for our neighborhood convenience store and deli: "The company anticipates that stores operating under the White Hen Pantry brand will begin converting to stores to the 7-Eleven brand in 2010."
